Tuo Cha is made of compressed Pu-erh tea from Yunnan Prvince in China. Pu-erh falls under a larger category of fermented teas commonly translated as Hei Cha or dark teas. Raw or Sheng pu-erh is processed traditionally as tea leaves are picked, roasted, sun-dried, compressed and then stored to be aged naturally. The name of Tuo Cha originated from the round, dome like shape of the pressed tea. Mini Tuo Cha is individually wrapped in a single serving of 5 grams of tea leaves. Although small in size, each Tuo is aged for more than ten years and packed with bold yet sophisticated taste! Miin Tuo Cha brews into a brown liquor thats smooth with earthy scent and distinguishing sweet aftertaste.
